Description
Taking suggestions into consideration, here is what I have come up with:
I think you give Cozens and Ruotsalainen a chance to see who wins the 3C spot. I am not opposed to letting Cozens ease into his first NHL season on the RW to start the year then move him to pivot as he gets up to speed.

Eakin has always been buried on depth charts. His FOW% is really good, he can kill penalties, and he can put up points when he's actually given the chance. With the young center depth I'll give him a chance.

Hoffman was hard to gauge comps on. Let me know what you think.

Welcome to all comments and critiques, but please try to keep them constructive. I enjoy your opinions.

Quite like the capitals trade, the Flames obviously used to have Hathaway and I highly recommend him, he can be a great penalty killer and plays with a ton of heart

if you're gonna do a bridge deal type of cap hit for olofsson then you have to do 2 years imo

I very much agree. I think Caps probably reject this. However, I think Hatty brings the attitude this club needs and helps change the culture. He's buried in Washington. I'd like to see him get more games. I think Buffalo is a place for him to show more.

Fair point. I think that's worth correcting.

I think hoffman seems a bit redundant on a line and/or team with skinner and olofsson

Completely agreed, and if he decides to become a Point Per PK guy again he will be very useful lmao.

Who do you think they should target instead for the 1RW spot?

I felt they could trade his rights for a small haul. Wasn't going to go through trading away all the RFA rights. However, he could slot in there.

No specific method. I just want to make sure they 1) Have cap space enough for their upcoming RFAs 2) Are bringing in guys who are going to help change the culture of losing. I don't think OS is the way to go because I want to replenish their draft capital.

Signing Reinhart in place of Hoffman and assuming that you can move Okposo's contract (Trade to Seattle for them to take him in draft): Cap Space for 21-22 would be $14,970,000 needing to sign Dahlin, Jokiharju, and Asplund. That would be a very comfortable place for them to be.

Hard to say because hes my guys and we shouldn't be trading him by any means but someone like pavel buchnevich seems like a good target, maybe a sifverberg/rakell if the ducks want risto, josh bailey if the isles need cap
