Massively under-valuing Mitch Marner, Detroit's not trading Hronek and we're not moving Rasmussen either. Perlini isn't being qualified so he'll be a UFA.

I felt Rasmussen would be expendable if the Wings draft Raty in 2021.

Switch the 2nd in the Murray trade to Vegas's 3rd and ok. It's going to take a higher pick to get Seattle to take Neilson. Currently Hronek is our best defenseman and our only real 2 way defenseman and Rasmussen is a promising young center so Detroit is trading away 2 of the most sought after positions for another winger which is Detroit's deepest position. Now Marner is a great player better than the players Detroit is losing but I doubt I'd give up Hronek to get him. Toronto went and signed their forwards for top dollar and have had to let other players go and missed out on some free agents because they can't afford to pay them. If the season played out would they have made the playoffs? If Marner was a center maybe I'd give up Hronek but I think Detroit needs to take a step back and make sure they aren't making the same mistakes Toronto has made and why they are offering Marner at such a low price.

Thanks for the feedback. I understand there are concerns about adding a big salary player like Marner. Most teams would be hesitant to be honest even if the price to acquire him is low.

    Lol, what the hell?

The Leafs get a top pairing RHD and a high profile center.

Hronek is a top 2 RHD & Rasmussen would make Toronto the deepest center depth team in the history of the NHL.

if Hronek is a top to RHD right now, so is Holl, and Rasmussen is currently an OK AHL player. As usual, your value is awful

Holl is a top 4 defender, but Hronek has top-pairing potential. He'd be elite in Toronto. Rasmussen had a poor rookie season but he's been pretty good in the AHL. He looks to be a blue-chip prospect.

Yeah definitely not enough for Marner. We also can’t give up Hronek because he is literally our only defenseman.
