I had no idea we could just propose unrealistic trades like the Bruins fans to solve all our problems. Why didn't we think of this earlier?

I know for a fact he wants out of buffalo. I don’t think its come to the point of demanding a trade, yet.

Source? I doubt you’re an insider 😂

Um, because i understand english?

Jim desperately wants a raise, he has not demanded, or even requested a raise. Get it?

Making the playoffs would help, but he doesn’t want to be in buffalo. He never did. 8x10 was just too good to pass up.

And you know personally that he wants out of Buffalo. Got it. Seems that you either A) have a personal relationship with him/someone very close to him or B) using extreme hyperbole with statements like “ yeah, losing isn’t fun “

Also let’s be real. He coulda pulled a Matthews and signed for five years and still made the 80M over 8. Prolly more. Your stretching here

I assure you, i am not. First, when he signed, he didn’t have the resume he does now, and nowhere near the resume Matthews had.

Secondly, just trust me. He does not want to be in buffalo.

I’m good friends with a couple BU teammates of his. I’ve grabbed beers with them at the baseball tavern in boston and he showed up. I would never pretend to have any sort of a relationship with him, but I’ve shot the sh*t with him after his rookie season, and i think it was his second season. Maybe third. Seemed like a bit of a jerk to me if we’re being honest.

He was nearly a ppg player after his second year. He didn’t have to sign for 8 years to get 80 over 8 years. We’ll see what happens. Winning cures a lot, not that it’s a for sure thing to happen.

You got a big list of players that got 10 million + that were “near point per game players,” off their ELC without sacrificing term?

Thing was McDavid, Eichel, and Matthews reset the market. Vegas was coming in, he knew the cap would rise. Pretty good chance with the hype he had, being a ppg player already, and if he was there for 5 years he’s still getting what? 8.5/9? So the next 3 years after, he’d 100% make that up

Neither has winning anything on their resume. Moot
Stats are for losers. Just win baby.

10m players cannot go to wherever they wan’t or if it was that simple it would happen more often.

Perhaps you are unaware of the rules of the national hockey league.

What rules? GM’s can wheel & deal but when was the last blockbuster done involving a big contract(s)? Weber/PK? Are you obtuse?

I don’t consider Hall in that category.

You said 10 million players can just go wherever they want. Perhaps you are unaware of how restricted free agency works.
