Description

**Shattenkirk agrees to an extension with the Blues before the trade happens.**

On the surface it seems like Edmonton is giving up too much, but Parayko may turn out to be the best player in the deal at the position they most covet, and at least in the short term Lehtera and Berglund offer solid forward depth.

Obviously St. Louis would be hoping that all three of the young players they're getting continue to develop into core pieces to build around.
