Irrespective of who wins the lottery, the real winner here is Lafreniere himself. He'll jump right onto a decent roster rather than having to drag a bottom-feeding club into contention without much help.

Worst case scenario is he’s drafted to the albatross franchise of Minnesota where picking in the teens is the only thing they’ve done in a decade.
