Open to genuine suggestions on Hertl trade if people don't think it's fair. Tried to take into account the term left on deal (not a lot), coupled with the second major knee injury in last few years. We could give our 2nd in '21 (Isles) and a very small add for Zadorov and be fine with that.

It’s not lunacy. He’s the best player on our team and he’s only 27! Him leaving would decimate our team so to get him we need a Karlsson like trade!( 2 firsts top prospect and a nhl player.) If that’s not there for him (and I Totally understand if everyone feels that’s too much) Then he stays, your issue is you guys want him and we don’t want to get rid of him, that’s means you have to pony up more To pique our curiosity! It’s simple logistics, now if he was demanding a trade and we were looking then middlestat and your first would be the best case scenario.
