Description

Little roster clean up and some young players stepping up.

Lars Trade: Need the cap space and he is worse than Benning. I am willing to die on this hill. Could the return be higher? Likely, but I don't do this for a living.

Bear: Bridge
AA: He puts up points, so I can see why my offer could be considered a low ball. However, he's a ridiculous liability on defence and is generally super one dimensional. He's also an RFA, so 2 bad, fella.
Ennis: I think he's worth the money and It's only for one season. He had a great year with Ottawa.
Smith: Inconsistent and old, 1x1 is just fine.
Wideman: just filler 7th D, idc who goes there.

Trading Larsson for a meh prospect just so you can overpay Ennis seems like a move Chiarelli would make.

Ya, I’m not a fan of the Larsson trade, Ennis will get around 1.5M, Smith will probably get 2M at least, Benning will get around 2M, AA will get 3M, and I rather trade Russell than buy him out. Welcome to Cap Friendly, that’s all the changes that I see that I don’t agree with.

you overpaid benning and ennis. No way AA accepts that. Mike smith will get more on the open market. widemen gives me nightmares
