One Dollar Bill

Created by: C_M_O_R
Team: 2020-21 Dallas Stars
Initial Creation Date: Jul. 9, 2020
Published: Jul. 10, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This just keeps the team as is with youth added.

I think Dallas will want to draft a RD this year. If not, maybe the pick could be swapped for a prospect that will be Expansion Draft exempt.

One dollar over bonuses.

Depends on how much experience he gets in the playoffs... But I could see Dell working nicely between Hintz and Guri

It could be a fun line to watch!

I do not think it’s a good idea to place JR on a checking line. Yeah Pavelski, sorry to say, has become such a player. IMO, you either play JR on the top 6 or you leave him in the AHL in a offensive role.

Caamano, Gardner, L’espérance, Dowling have the profile to play bottom six, not JR.

Yeah, I think the lines could move around.

JR - Hintz - Guri
JD - Ty - Pavs
Cogs - Faksa - Comeau

I’m curious what Faksa would look like with different wingers. It’s been forever since Rous - Faksa - Garbutt.

And I agree with you, but if you play JD in the shutdown role for a few shifts, you might see a different side of Faksa.

I’m still edgy when it comes to JR’s speed.

JR - JD - Pavs could work too.

I thought about buying out Cogs, but in this scenario it wouldn’t be necessary.

Yeah lot’s of Stars’ fans are worried about JR’s speed. I am not. His hockey IQ is up the roof, his playmaking is underrated IMO and he sure has strong offensive instinct. He reminds me of Luc Robitaille. Not saying he will have such a carrer. Just saying that I find similarities in their respective hockey profile.

JR Hintz and Gury would be fun to watch. My guess is that JR would get tons of assists. We would need for sure another coach to put these 3 players together.
