OJ had injury set backs but other than that he’s still a solid prospect. Sutter helps a lot on D & PK & on tge dot & vet leadership. Boeser hard to find top 6 RW slots in nicely. The 1st appears high but I equate it as equal value for Boeser. The salary retention might make this deal work. If not this offer can be tweaked.

Boeser for a rental (I know you like Gusev but at the end of the day he's a rental right now and should be treated as such) and 2 prospects unlikely to be more than 4th liners in the future. Does definitely make sense for us but this isn't going through.

yeah I couldn't care less about Mcleod and Bastian, they are essentially worthless lol. It's basically a lateral move for NJD, you're swapping two players that are similar in production and one is a few years younger. Does basically nothing for both teams, and Gusev is going to want similar money to Boeser at the end of the year anyways so Vancouver either loses him or are still in a bad cap situation. Devils would take that trade but like I said it doesn't do a whole lot for either party.
