Description

This would 100% never happen, but thought it would be fun to see what the Flames could do if they traded Lucic and took on an LTIR contract like Kesler's. So this is what I did.

Ducks need something shiny in that offer if they’re gonna take a player they despise, has a massive contract, and is not good anymore

So what's the purpose of Kesler's inclusion included the trade? If he's LTIR, is cap means nothing. Doubt if Ducks want Lucic's long term cap hit

2nd+3rd isn't enough to take on Lucic contract, And Tyler Toffoli get's closer to 5x$5.5m.

They don't need Lucic gone to bring in Toffoli, they just don't bring back a 4m 3rd pair guy

That trade will never happen, it would be easier if lucic lifts his trade/movement clause and Seatle hopefully picks him up. Flames need help in goal and on defense. I doubt it that both Brodie and or Hamonic, will be re-signed next year. It's a blow for sure if they can't bring in at least another RD. Hopefully Treliving can make something happen. Depending on how the Flames perform in the playoffs, we'll probably see one or two forwards on the trade block.
