That's some serious value for Boeser. I still doubt he'll be traded, but this offer is pretty good.

How would the offer change if Eriksson wasn't included? Since the expected value for dumping Eriksson is a 1st, does that mean we can just add our own 1st rounder back into the trade?

Boeser for Severson + 1st (ARI) + 1st (VAN) + Bastian

Defense looks so much better too, lots of potential on that blue line! Love to see so many young players on it.

No way, that's overkill for Boeser IMO. But you make a good point- if the Devils take back Eriksson, should they include a first? Or would it take multiple firsts to get him?

Two good 1sts + a good roster play seems overkill I agree, but taking out Eriksson has that kind of value since he essentially removes a 1st rounder.

If Eriksson wasn't included as negative value, what would you give up then?

Severson and Van' 1st was what I had in mind. Maybe Van has to add in the original deal, i'm not sure.

It's really funny how people keep overrating Brock Boeser imo.

If Arizona loses to Nashville their pick slots anywhere between 9-11. It's already debateable wether he's worth that high of a pick or not since he's a winger, not a center and intends to miss a lot of games basically every season.

Quick answer: No deal from NJD.

That's less than you gave up when you took Eriksson. That doesn't make any sense.

I like the moves but want to keep Butcher instead of trading for Maata. I think Butcher has a good chance of rebounding next year

I'm aware, which is what I said earlier, Van would have to add in the original deal to get an accurate depiction of what it would actually cost. I don't give a lot of thoughts to answers on here while I'm at work lol

Has to be the Van pick to make sense
