Don't have to talk to Yzerman when we know that Detroit scouts led by Kris Draper have been heavily scouting Cole Perfetti. He's right in their own backyard and makes way too much sense. So yeah i feel comfortable knowing that he's a prime Yzerman target.

And how in the world would Draper could have been heavily scouting Perfetti since their no ****ing Hockey for 4 month. I am sure they where scouting Lafreniere, Raymond, Rossi, Drysdale, Holtz, Byfield and Stutzle heavily all year long. That there fck job would be stupid to think otherwise. The fact that you like Perfetti doesnt make It Yzerman choice, once again you haven’t a fck clue if that the case.

Even if Detroit doesn't pick Perfetti at 4 Montreal won't be picking before 9 unless they pick 1st. Id be surprised if Perfetti made it to 9, but you could really shock the hockey world and take him at 1 if you're that keen.

Byron is fine I guess, but that contract is not exactly short, so you'll need to add more than a single 3rd. You have plenty of picks this year, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Detroit selected Moritz Seider last year when he was listed a lot lower on most list. Each year there guy’s that drop and some the rise at the draft. I doubt that he will be available at 9th but he is not a strong skater so that can make him fall a few rank. I would be happy with Seth Jarvis at 9th though, he will be a awesome player i a couple year. I got tremendous speed like Barzal, a trive for the net like Gallagher and is Hockey IQ is of the chart. He was probably the best players in the Chl beside Lafrenière in the second half of the season
