I'm pretty sure I saw something about how conditions based on point totals aren't allowed anymore -- correct me if I'm wrong though. Anyway, a 4th for Johnsson is pretty hard to pass up by any team, although I don't really think he is the player that NSH would be looking to grab or needs.

Really? I hadn't heard anything so honestly I have no idea.. I admittedly just was looking around at teams and though, hmmm.. Nashville definitely could use a cheap ish F who can score 20+ in a top 6 role.. LOL.

NSH would be more interested in Hoffman or a big UFA over this. But this would be a fine fall back.

edit: and scoring 20+ with Marner, Tavares, Matthews, and Nylander is a bit different than scoring 20+ with Johansen, Duchene, and Arvidsson

His first year playing when he scored 20 he had an unstainable shooting %. He is quite likely not going to come close to 20 again. Last year in over 1/2 a season, he scored 3 even strength goals with top end talent on his line. I wouldn't call him cheapish with the current financial situation of the NHL, and I wouldn't call him a top 6 talent. He is an undersized 3rd line winger, biggest asset is his speed, and is coming off a major leg injury. His 3.4 million cap hit during the stagnant cap situation combined with past year performance would suggest he is not going to return much of anything to Toronto if traded before next season starts. Very few teams can even afford to take him on without moving cap back, which doesn't help Toronto.

And Johnsson hasn't hit 20+ playing with those guys yet. One 20 goal season so far, then a drop off this season, before his injury. If Poile's best acquisition this summer is Johnsson, that's a big failure for him.
