I just don't think this Boeser trade makes sense for Vancouver. If they were moving him would be to clear up cap space and Domi is likely to have a similar if not higher cap hit. I realize they are clearing $3 million on Sutter but they are going to need more cap flexibility next year when Peterrson and Hughes are up for new deals also.

If VAN is using Boeser to dump salary I guarantee they aren’t retaining a penny.

That STL trade seems like MTL is sending to much back.

Steen and a 1st gets u Ondrej Kase, since Steen is far more valuable then Backes (without any retain) . But StL is not trading their 1st, our prospects pool is depleted and there's still a ton of talent available at the end of the 1st

Steen has an NTC, why would he waive just to be bought out by Habs?

Tell me then, how do you think the Blues can manage to keep both their 1st and Pietrangelo?

IDK, a Blues fan posted this proposal. The Idea was that STL would bring him back on a team friendly deal.

This deal was proposed by a Canucks fan, I did not care so much as to why VAN would do it. I believe part of the rationale was that Domi plays C and Boeser has troubles staying healthy. But I get it, it probably makes more sense for VAN if the cap dump clears some space for Hughes and Petterson. Would taking on Beagle or Eriksson instead of Sutter tilt the scale?

Allen n bozak, basically take care of it and they have enough value to not have to pay to move.
Could live without 1 barby, Sanford, blais tho not ideal. Gunn or borts is replaceable
If someone is willing to throw around a high 1st I'd listen on Schwartz or Dunn*(we'd have to add likely)
Or let him walk if term is too long. The team can manage without any 1 player
