Not sure this is the right move for Tampa. Its not really "relief" and its taking away their two best defensive forwards from a team that isnt that great defensively.

It's so hard to know what the value is for Johnny. I agree with first comment, Tampa probably declines, Cirelli is such a talented guy.

I'd probably say this is as good a return as you can get for Johnny, would be nice to see a pick come back also, I just don't have a clue what his value is, he's the kind of guy you can't win back more value than what's leaving, trade Sean instead.

Hell no, I just don't know what the hell to do with Gaudreau. I would accept the offer you gave if I was Brad I suppose. There is just no winning in with the Johnny situation.

Man, he cannot ever go to Edmonton. Regardless of the return, literally any other team in the league.

I really like the most common, Frost/Ghost/Myers from Philly, or a package of that sort.

Yeah dont think Philly trades Myers but Frost is exactly what they need. Ghost and Frost for Gaudreau would be a good return. Maybe add a pick

@csick @ChuckyCheese

At this point, I'd be fine trading Gaudreau to EDM for 2 years.

CGY could just beat the p1ss out of him every time they play each other. He'd probably be scratched due to "flu like symptoms" before every game. Sure, he'd put up 125 points playing with McDavid or Draisaitl, but who cares what he does against other teams?

Taylor Hall fetched a substantial package from ARI in the final year of his deal -- Gaudreau can fetch a bigger package with more term on his contract.
