Nashville would not be wise to make that trade, but the Sharks accept that soooooooooo fast

I mean value-wise it's not that bad. We get a pick and a utility wing that can play anywhere in the top 9 and some picks. For the preds, they add a scoring wing who'll be cheaper than the guys departing for them in FA. Maybe take the 3rd out but value wise I think it works out. I think Labanc would be a great fit because he's a powerplay guy as well and being a competent playmaking winger alongside duchene at 3.5 mil is pretty great imo.

I mean I think that Labanc’s ceiling is definitely higher than Jarnkrok’s (and he’s younger) but Jarnkrok’s contract is pretty unreal. 2 mill for 3 more years? Yes please. Add that to the fact that he’s a good 2-way 30-40 point player with a good shot and you’re looking at a pretty valuable player. I think you’re underrating him a bit, but even with the 3rd taken out, the Sharks gladly accept.
