I don't see how LA would offer that return. If LA does that yea sure, it's a no brainer. But that's robbery. I'm also not tracking that sentence, how many pieces are you adding to that trade? (2nd overall, another 1st rounder, 2nd rounder + all those guys?!?!) That's 6 pieces.
I guess what I'm saying is, I don't think the Rangers should take Chris Kreider into consideration when they draft. They should take the best player (or the highway robbery above) and do roster changes as a result of.

No dude, Kupari was a 1st round pick, Grundstrom was a 2nd round pick, and I believe Madden was a 2nd round pick so essentially that is 2OA, a 1st, and two 2nds.

Ok gotcha. So Kupari and Gruundstrom haven't really progressed as expected. Madden was a 3rd rounder and he's doing quite well. Switch out Kupari and Gruundstrom for Bjornfot and that's a trade.
2nd overall, 1st rounder, Madden and Bjornfot for 1st overall.
