that goalie tandem would be one of the worst in the league. Ned is a more out of position Mrazek

That is light on Foegele’s salary. Seattle takes one of Fleury or Skjei at this point.

I'm not one to pick apart other people's ideas, but I will give some thoughts. I don't think Reimer is the answer in goal especially during the Aho, Teravainen, Slavin, Pesce window, and the AAV is high. I would guess that Francis selects one of his original draft picks for Seattle. One of Fleury, Foegele, Geekie or Bean (although Bean is traded in this scenario.) I also don't see us re-signing Martinook with the other big contracts on the books. I agree with @ecupirate7 that Foegele's salary is light. I think we bridge him at something close to $2.5mill x 3yrs. I also think this line-up leaves something to be desired. Another proven top 6 winger is needed.

I see us keeping Martinook but at a lower salary. Basically shave the extra 750k he gave Martinook and give it to Foegele and it evens out. Martinook is one of the key glue guys on and off the ice. Definitely sell off Nino post draft. great 4 months with us and then nothing since. Yet Rod keeps playing him.

I personally would be quite surprised if we signed Dougie for more than 8.5 million AAV. The management team will probably cap out at Carlson's cap usage percentage when he signed. We would be looking at 8.2 million.

I agree on the Hamilton salary. I am thinking $8.5 mill is the max our front office will go and personally I think that is what he is worth. On the Martinook signing, I just feel that what he brings off the ice/in the locker room is not enough to justify what he lacks on the ice. If he were to sign in the 1 million range, maybe. He's a great hype man and agitator, but he is not a difference maker at anything skill wise.
