Wouldn't they want to do this trade for LH dman instead of a RH? Barrie doesn't play his off side, does he?

If Colorado was going to move Landeskog it would be in a deal for Lindholm not Myers and Petan.

In Junior he did, not so much in the Pros yet. Bigras and Gelinas can play off side. It's pretty common actually.

True North made a WPG team a little further back. As this roster shows, it's not a great fit rn. Swapping Landeskog for a defenseman may have worked before all the free agents were signed. I'd imagine we would have gone harder after Boedker and got a cheaper depth guy in Colborne's spot.

Myers wouldn't be enough for me to sacrifice Landy for...I woudl be pretty pissed off if the Avs did this trade
