Description
Alright. Please read what follows before commenting. This team is not perfect. Contracts wont be exact and likely trades arent going to be well received but it was something i thought of. Simon-Jugs-Horny line was dominant with possession in the zone at times. Not sure if the numbers back that up but that line looked good when together. Biggest issue is that all 3 have health issues. i also have Poulin in the top six. Not sure if thats realistic but they had him as a black ace so im going to assume that they expect him to make the team. Bean for Murray swap is just a base. But i would expect both players to be lost in expansion for their current teams so they may be open to moving them.

1.
PIT
  1. Bean, Jake
Additional Details:
Due to expansion, both teams deal from positions of strength for positions of weakness. Mrazek or Reimer would likely be dealt/bought out. Not sure on the value here. Likely other pieces on both side but that would be the base.
2.
PIT
  1. Montour, Brandon [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
To me this deal makes sense for both teams. McCann can fill a top 6 role for Buffalo, whether that is at C or W is yet to be determined. Montour give Pittsburgh Marino regression insurance as well as Letang insurance. Other pieces may need to be involved but its a good base trade here too.

Id rather play Bean and see what we have then have to sign Murray. He is going to hang his hat on the prior two years but the under .900 sv percentage and bad playoffs give him too much risk.

Canes reject. Murray is a downgrade on what they have and it’s not worth moving the most NHL ready defensive prospect In hockey
