Pittsburgh would be trading Letang for two reasons, youth movement and to cut cap.

Youth: Staal is 31 himself (32 next month) which doesn't actually help with the youth movement. Skjei at 26 isn't bad on that front, but not great. 0-1-1

So you are looking at 0-3-1 from the Pens side, The 1st and 2nd don't really counter the 0-3-1 ness of the players involved.
