    If your retaining on Larsson then I think it’s a 1 for 1 trade, no way I add

    Kapanen for Larsson (50% retained) or Kapanen for Larsson (no salary retained) and Puljujarvi. Leafs maybe adds a mid pick. Larsson has to agree to an extension though.

    Larrson is done at the end of the season. Kapanen is signed for 2 seasons and he's a player we know the Leafs get calls about on a regular basis. That's been said by many including Dubas himself. Even with retained salary, there's no way that's a 1 for 1 trade.

    Seems to be the market price to move up a spot or two in the 1st rd. It would depend on who's available at 14th overall though, and if MTL think PIT have their sights set on the same player and Habs jump over them to pick him.
