Too much, imo...but, I’m probably in the minority here.

Way too much to give up. Take out Khovanov and it's still a lot, but I'd be ok with it.

Im not interested in the Wild giving up young assets for a 27/28 year old...regardless how good he might be.

If you take out Khovanov, it's basically a swap of similar age players. shedding an expiring contract, and dropping back a round in the 2021 draft. That's probably fair in the real world with how trades actually work. It's easy to argue even that is too much and to take the draft picks out completely and just send over Dumba and Staal for Kuznetzov imo. If the Caps are willing to trade Kuznetzov, there's a reason and they're getting something out of the deal.

I was just thinking the same thing: Dumba and Staal for Kuznetzov...and that’s where I would draw my line in the sand.

I like what you've done here and a veteran like Crawford for 1 year I would be fine with that, provided the price tag is where you put it. As for McMichael, he needs another year somewhere that's not the pros. I think this would be rushing him. As for Kuzya trade, I think you can take the draft picks out and I would like this.
