Puljujarvi Sergachev

Created by: thelukeman
Team: 2020-21 Los Angeles Kings
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 20, 2020
Published: Aug. 20, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
LA was kicking tires with Edmonton for Puljujarvi last summer. Wonder if LA would try again. Oiler fans, does this trade get it done? Edmonton moves down 20 spots to 35 in this trade

Tampa nets a 2021 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from a team that is more likely to miss the playoffs than not.

Thoughts? Who says no? Is there a counter?

I think your value is there but Puljujärvi didn't work with McLellan the first time around not sure why he would think it would be better the second time around.

Edmonton rejects this. Walker isn't really a top 4 D man... he's worth a low 2nd round pick at most.

We don’t want more defence men prospects.

That’s a good point. LA was still kicking tires when we already signed McLellan, but who knows maybe TM was the problem.

That’s fair. He could be a serviceable 4/5 soon though. He and Roy took their game to next step this past season, especially Roy. Would switching out Walker for Roy get it done for you?

Good to know. Does a similar forward prospect, like Thomas, Dudas, or Jaret Anderson-Dolan get it done?

I wouldn’t want to trade the 14 overall though. But i do like Anderson-Dolan.

Definitely much closer. I think Edmonton would have to think about that one but I'd say no. 15OA is too valueable in this deep a draft. They could use 15 to trade up a couple spots and draft the best goalie prospect since Price.

Maybe if the Kings take out Clague and give the Blues 2nd round pick in 2021 and switch Walker with Roy. I think then the Oilers would accept.
