But he doesn't, he doesn't shut down the oppositions best. He just seemed to be good at it 2 years ago when Anaheim was still have decent. He's not good enough on his own to carry anything

He isn't half as good as Muzzin. He's a better Ceci. Possession wise not good, xg% terrible and offensively he isn't a 3rd of what Muzzin is and Muzzin is better defensively as well.

put him with muzzin and we shall see, look at what holl looks like with muzz, then how he looks away from muzz.

his xG% is terrible because anaheims as a whole is terrible, possession wise for the same reason. he is waaaaaay better than ceci, that take makes me laugh

He looks fine away from Muzzin just not capable of being a top pair guy without Muzzin and that doesn't mean he's terrible. Holl with Dermott was pretty good or him with Rielly would be good too. Manson I think would be fine on the leafs but not at the price it would take to get him. He isn't a savior

hes an upgrade on holl, an upgrade on barrie and ceci, i would pay whatever to get him, also brings much needed physicality. Muzzin-Manson-Gudas would be a pain to play against

Are they though? Muzzin is a terrific defenceman but Manson and Gudas don't have the hockey sense to make up for being slow like Muzzin does.

The number of defenceman who are top 15 on this site are easily over 50 players. Manson is overrated.
