If the Kings are taking on cap dumps, they'll trade for someone like Eriksson from Vancouver that will get them a 1st round pick. They're not going to waste the space if the best thing coming back is a 3rd.

You left the Carolina first out of that Smith trade. He's a pure cap dump, and no one will pay anything for him. Smith and the first for a 2020 fourth or fifth is about right.
