Just curious as to why everyone suddenly wants bennet? I like the kid but one good short playoff run doesn’t really justify everyone going crazy for him suddenly.

I think he'd be the perfect 3rd line centre on the Pens. Have him go out and hit everything that moves and then throw the BART line out and have Tanev hit everything that moves. Teams would hate playing the Pens.

I agree would be a perfect fit for Pitts. Just find it odd in short sample size suddenly he’s a hot ticket around here.

The other reason is likely that the Pens have struggled in the playoffs the last couple seasons and Bennett is built for the playoffs. Could at least light a spark for the team.
