Pool party stays in Finland for $1M and playing on the 3rd line if he's on the Oilers. I'm betting the Oilers move him if not now, sometime next season.

I would put Puljujarvi with McDavid. Maybe on the third line for a few games at the beginning to see how he does.

It's a 1 year deal. And I'm pretty sure they make less than league minimum in Finland. Closer to 300k

Top players in Liiga are getting over $500K a year. Pretty sure the highest paid player in 2018 was $711K in the Finnish league. That said, JP on a year to year basis probably isn't getting that there. They are also taxed very differently as professional athletes if they are a resident so hard to compare dollar for dollar; there is a rule with athletes that allows them to spread out their tax liabilities, I don't know the specifics though, just a friend who tried to explain it to me that played in that league.

      Easy noob...

Jesse was quoted as saying when asked about signing with the Oilers, "never say never". Most interpreted that as him simply knowing he was being recorded for a interview and nothing more.
