Description
3rd pairing LD is a toss-up between Lehtonen or Sandin, but either way Marincin is the guy in the press box every night.

$5mil+ might not be enough for Brodie, but I don’t see big money being thrown around this offseason.

Some draft picks received could be too high, but just take the next round then- Salary dumping, not caring too much about the return.

What is Troy Terry’s trade value? I wouldn’t include a 1st, but would add picks if need be- maybe even a prospect like Liljegren instead.

I think the Leafs would/will get a lot more than than for Dermott. I don't mean a 1st or anything like that before people call me a crazy Leaf fan overvaluing players. But a 4th is really really low for Dermott even on his own.

He’s just not under contract, so unless the team has a deal ready who knows what his signing value is. But then again, if you can get more- then get more.

I really really hate the idea of Joe Thornton as our 3C. I feel like he would slow the whole line down. Now, id love to have Mangiapane, per say, as a 3C.

That’s fair- but I have no problem with a 3rd line that slows the game down. I’d rather keep the tempo up down low than with speed through the neutral zone
