Markstrom Pietro and all our top guys

Description
Feel free to adjust the picks here or there, i chose not to acquire any players other than pool party, because yall get so tight. What could FA bring if we clear EVERYTHING?

Pool party signes so low because he is told he will play with Matty and Willy, sends Hyman to the 3rd to add depth there. ( I KNOW its super silly cuz Hyman is a champ, but I figure he is resigning anyways on the cheap and then he can really help out the third line while we expedite the development of Robertson and Pool Party with their stars.
Thornton wants out of SJS to have a chance at the cup- signs league min to benifit the team (hypothetically)
Spezza wants cup- signs league min to benefit the team

Pietro and Markstrom hypothetically sign if contract talks fall through with their respective teams. I know Pietro is likely back in STL, however i heard that theres something "off" about the contract talks. BTW that was the latest offer by STL, just 1 year shorter.

Light me up, i know you will!

I think these are the fairest trades I've seen recently but I think edmonton wants wingers not centers

Thanks for the first comment being a constructive one, Kerfoot actually played some time on the LW with Tavares and Marner and played well. Some would argue is more suited as an okay top 6 winger than a 3C. I think a team could use him in either situation.

Thanks man, if needed Kerfoot could be swapped with Johnsson in the trade to suit Edmonton more, and Kerfoot would go for the pick

Looks pretty good to me. I think Mikheyev gets more than that on a 2 year deal (I have been wrong many times before on such things).

Also, you signed Clifford, so trade Leafs 2nd round 2021 pick to LA for Leafs 3rd round 2021 pick (that's the condition if he signs)

I know that thats the condition but i never remember when im making my teams lol. yea i figure Mikky would be likely on a 1 year deal for that. My hypothetical dream is that Dubas plays hardball. I was thinking about next years cheap depth. If Mikky plays the way we know he can through a full season next year he will could price himself off the team which would be no bueno

Not really, wouldn’t want jumbo at 3c. Wouldn’t want to give up a 2nd for Clifford. I would keep Dermott if he’s going to sign his QO. He can play up and down that defence on both sides.

I’m also not huge on signing Petro. I just think we are sacrificing too much depth.

The good news is you kept both Lilly and the 1st.

The team is pretty good. The depth up front suffers but you can’t sign petro without that happening.

I wouldnt have considered dermott to sign his QO of $874,125, how many years do you think he would take that at? 1 maybe?
I agree about Pietro, im not a fan of paying big for players that are going to be spent come the last few years of their contracts.
Do you think Pesce could go for Andersen, Johnsson, and a 2nd? fills out some offensive and goaltending depth for CAR, while spending some of the defensive assets. they would have to make some more trades to cut cap but who knows

The QO would be 1 year. He would be able to negotiate next season with arb rights. There is a chance. I’m sure dubas would like to get him at 2-3 years under 1.5m.
