Since we're just a way station for Kerfoot before passing him on to Winnipeg, why don't we let you make that trade with the Jets and we'll leave Steel out of this?

Steel is a third line center calm down. If you don't want to do it fine, we can find another. Not worth much more than Liljegren, if any, and you have a big need at RHD for the future, but again, if you don't want to do it, that's fine. We could take Liljegren and Steel out of this. Just an idea.

Because Liljegren replaces Kerfoot in the original "Marner, Kerfoot, 15th overall for Rakell, Manson, 6th overall" formulation. Kerfoot and Steel come out so that the trade stays fair value.

I don't think the trade is fair value at that point though. I don't think Liljegren should replace Kerfoot.

Marner + Kerfoot + 15 for Manson + Rakell + 6

Leave Steel and Lily out of it if you'd like
