Description
Give Anaheim some reprieve from their cap crunch. Jets could also get Smith from Detroit for peanuts.

Morrissey can prove he belongs in the NHL this season and be ready to replace Enstrom when his contract expires. LHDs are easier to replace.

Overhardt can hang out in Detroit with Trouba and pat each other on the back.

Sure let him sit until you can find a solid trade for him but just letting him sit and not trading him helps WPG in no way. His trade value has now dropped though now that everyone knows he wants out.

I know he made it known that he wants out but I don't think it's hurt his value much at all, he's really good and he's young but with a good amount of experience so that it's not a risk

he isn't risky but anytime someone wants out of a place, his trade value goes down.

I would contend that his trade value has gone up since yesterday. Up until then, it would have been private conversations between managers. Now that the media and the fan bases are clamoring for proof that their managers are making an effort, the stakes are higher and someone is going to cave and pay a king's ransom for a young, mean, top 4 RHD.
