I think Leafs would do this deal in a heart beat.....Virtanen has huge upside and Stecher has more heart than has the Leafs present roster.......great deal.

stecher is not the answer for leafs. they have lots of bottom pair options.

Virtanen has no upside he's 24 and this past season is the first time he surpassed 30 pts. There is no upside with Virtanen

Virtanen is from my hometown and he has huge upside.....he was the first pick in WHL Bantam draft......do not write him off yet.....he can skate and shoot and can hit....all the attributes of a true power forward once he figures out the commitment to be a successful NHL player..... Travis Green knows how to give him the tough love.
