Yeah the question is who can we add for that amount. It is to little for Hall and if we do add him we can just trade a dman or someone. but what do we want in those trades picks or players.

I think the big question is there some big trade candidate out there with a top 6 player, they don't need or want that would be better than Hall.

Toffoli would fit the price tag as a UFA add, same as Hoffman. Package up 2 of Jost Compher with Zads Graves, they can go bigger game hunting and I think they just might do that based on what Friedman talked about on his podcast today, saying Avs are a team to watch

Also I sneakily like the idea of just adding Stastny from Vegas who will need cap space bad this offseason, he has 1 year left at 6.5m....If you can gain an asset to take back stastny who was still 53% on faceoffs and a 40 point player...talk about an ideal 3rd line C who can be trusted for Defensive draws over Compher or Bellemare

Oh I like that Idea. in this model we have like 12 mil next year as well since Landy and Makar ate most of the cap in this second season. Since Vegas needs to shed cap not that expensive, but would they trade him to a top contender out west? If we tossed Jost plus Z or Graves in a trade gives us Stats plus a guy for 7-8 mil.

I would move both zads And graves if tj Brodie hits the market. I don’t think he’s getting much beyond 5m aav and he’s damn good. Makar Brodie top pairing would be legit. Sell high on graves
