Description

JB said he’s not moving any 1or 2nd round picks to shed salary. So that means I don’t think it’s possible to trade anybody. Would anybody take roussel, sutter, beagle, bearchi for a 3rd? I don’t think so. This looks super bad, he gave a 2nd to get bear and now probably has to give a 2nd for someone to take him because he overpaid so badly. The rest weren’t absolutely terrible but all were given a year to much. Let’s see how he manoeuvres but I believe Ferland career is over. If somehow he trades somewe sign Leivo.

This team is a big downgrade from last year. Why in the world would we lock up two more fourth liners to 3-yr deals? Especially ones with zero leverage.

This is a reality. If JB isn’t going to trade any 1st or 2nd then how can we shed salary? Maybe if we start retaining salary on Roussell and Sutter, but that makes JB look bad.
You don’t like motte and Macewen as cheap 4th liners? I do

I think Barrie was the Leafs worse Dman with season. His point totals are bloated by his PP totals. He can't be on PK and not dependable at even strength.
