Bergevin wouldn’t trade Byron for nothing less than a 2nd round pick and with is contract, no team will offer that

For me from a montreal perspective , your trading a guy one year removed from a 72 point season for a player thats 22 and still hasnt cracked an nhl lineup full time, and a second. Thats not enough for Domi in my opinion anyway

I know that Domi for JP is far fetch. It does allow MB to run for Hall and add a potential Legitimate RW that wants to play here. That was the idea. Domi may be worth much more but the cost of the return will also be more expensive.
