Thats literally not what anyone is saying. The Leafs need guys like Lemieux to fill in the rest of their lineup so that they don't get pushed around in the playoffs like they have for years on end. Everyone who understands hockey can see that that is their issue. So they would be smart to trade for Lemieux if he was on the table for a one-for-one with Dermott. If you think the Leafs wouldn't do that deal in a heartbeat then thats just ignorance


That's literally what I did here, I agree the Leafs need a pain in the a** player, Rangers LHD is atrocious Leafs LHD is quite strong there fore Dermott for Lemieux

That doesn't do much. He's a third pair guy. I like Dermott but he's not reliable for heavy minutes.


And Lemieux is a 10-12 F , the value is more than there for NYR

Yes I agree, the problem is that the Rangers wouldn't do this deal because the value is still off.. Thats why it would be such a no brainer for the Leafs
