As much as I hate to say it, I would have to say deal!

I dont see anyway why the Oilers would want that OEL contract. He will be a hundred years old by the time that contract ends and he is already sucking more and more every year.

Drop the 3rd and retain a million on OEL and Edmonton might be tempted. Otherwise I can't imagine they're too keen on paying OEL that much for 7 years

He hasnt worked under Tocchet and his power play totals have taken a dive but he's still above average defensively and a trade to a team like the Oilers would definitely up tick his power play totals to the point where he can become a 50-60 point defensemen again , also his contract ends when he is 35 which isnt that bad and by then the cap will be north of 90M
