    This is going to piss a lot of people off, but here's something that makes me think this is possible:

    Gardiner is very good, smooth skating defenseman on the left side
    What defenseman that's better than him that can contribute right now that is better and a team will be willing to part with

    However, I don't think this makes Winnipeg part ways with Trouba, I think you would have to add a Kapanen to this deal

    It would take at least Gardiner+Kapanen to get Trouba, And it's already pretty much been said that Trouba wont play in any Canadian Market so not happening.

    Nope it's been pretty much said that Trouba only wants to play in the States in the Eastern Conference as close to home near Detroit has possible it's already been said that Overhardt wont listen to any Canadian teams.

    I haven't heard the Canadian teams rumour or the no Gardiner....
