I don’t think VAN is a contending team with that defense.

The teams D was a problem in the playoffs and this teams D is likely worse than last year.
Both Rafferty and Rathbone are good prospects but if either one of them are not ready that makes a bad problem even worse. One of the two should start the year as their #7, maybe carry eight D and they can both be on the team and get experience, definitely ca’t be expected to be their bottom pair when they have a combined 2 game of NHL experience.

I like the Killorn addition but that D needs some serious improvement.
