the idea behind Coyotes trading Kuemper is bc they want to shed money...this is taking more on than they want to do.
Reason why Hjalmarsson is available and avs are connected as well, trying to rid themselves of his 4m Salary 5.5m cap hit.

dont know where you heard Kuemper is on the block to shed money , Elliott Friedman said he's on the block because for assets so did our local writer

They want to shed money as well, they arent taking on money in any deals for Kuemper. Its both assets and cap space. and I dont think that it specifically needs to reported that every player that the yotes may move will have financial implications behind it.

Sort of naïve to think that coyotes moving their MVP from last year is only for assets and not also money oriented as well

right right so all the Kuemper for roster player deals like Andersen or Reimer wont happen because those two do add money when they already have Raanta and Hill

The one thing that gives me pause on Kuemper is that notion that he is a "system" goalie. That's the idea that he needs a defense-first team in front of him that restricts high-danger chances to be successful. The Avs definitely are not that kind of team so I wonder if Kuemper would be as good with the Avs as he is with AZ.

That’s how I see it, unless there is some solid assets and cost savings won’t make a lot of sense for the yotes who want to compete as well.

I think kuemper is the least likely to go especially if they can move OEL. If they clear his contract I think they should be able to do more hockey trades
