I know that the Parayko trade was suggested by a Blues fan, but it is terrible for the Blues. I wouldn't consider that at all.

We've signed Faulk to be the RH PMD long term, Liljegren doesn't offer much value to us. Particularly if we're keeping Dunn and have Perunovich. It's too many second & third pairing PMDs.

The first and second are nice, but we're trying to compete now.

No interest in swapping one year of Bozak at $5m for three years of Kerfoot at $3.5m and one year of $1.5m retention. We have Sundqvist & Barbashev as bottom 6 centres, before even considering the fact we have ROR, Schenn & Thomas as centres. We don't need $3.5m tied up long term when we have contract extensions dealt with next summer, when Bozak comes off the books.

These are all very good points but have you considered the fact that I personally like this for the Leafs and so I will disregard your opinion and continue seeing this as a realistic option.
