Can you expand on why you think that?

A 1st-pairing RHD is a rare commodity and only rarely do they become available on the trade market. There was speculation on The Athletic and from Eliotte Friedman that this may be the case with Ekblad.

The scarcity of top-pairing RHD what makes their trade value so high. In contrast wingers can be much more easily replaced. Vancouver has a bigger need to upgrade their defense than to keep their winger depth.

A team like Florida who already has a tough time defending is not going to move the one guy who can actually play defense. I agree VAN has a need for a RHD and a partner to play with Hughes but I just don't see VAN moving Boeser after Benning has come out multiple times now and said they are not moving Boeser. Podkolzin and Hoglander are 2 prospects that VAN won't move.
