A couple things. First, is the Foligno trade by choice or necessity? Regardless, he returns more. Second, Holtby doesn’t get anywhere near that term or salary but I think he’s a good fit for the Wild. Third, I like Danault but I wonder if we couldn’t get more for Dumba.

Montreal is not going after Dumba... or any other D for that matter.
And as a Habs fan, I wouldn't trade Danault - to valuable on many areas on the game.
So for both those reasons, as a Habs fan, I wouldn't pull off that trade. At all.

Buuuuuttt, as far as value, I have to say that the trade proposal is decent, fair value, well done.

Yeah, fit isn’t there but I would assume Laine to MON and Danault + to MIN if it included both players.
