Why do the Penguins do this? Like, why in gods name would they even consider this? Noah Hanifin and what should be a fourth round pick?

Bryan Rust, as far as top six wingers go, is one of the best values in the league. He’s got term, so he’s going for at least a first. And we’re retaining?

Marcus Pettersson is very steady and the Penguins have no reason to move him.

Matt Murray is going to be traded but if all we’re getting back for a top 6 winger, a very steady second pairing D, and a starting goaltender is a top pairing D-man and the last or second to last third round pick in the draft, you’re insane.

I wouldn't do Pettersson for Hanafin straight up. Terrible trade.
