Dude it's within the division and if Marc Bergevin truly wants Mantha, Then he's going to overpay for him it's just that simple.

Nope Domi and Mete kill the deal, While i'll love the #16 pick we don't need Domi and Mete we can draft a Domi clone with Marco Rossi and not have to give Domi either 5 x $5,500.000 or 5 x 6,000,000 for his services. Mete needs a new deal and would be our bottom pairing LD and sorry we can go with a cheaper alternative Domi is only 5 1/2 months younger then Mantha and Hab fans claim that Mantha will be too old by the time we compete. If that's true then so will Domi. FYI Detroit's not trading 6'5 Mantha for 2 5'9 smurfs in Domi and Mete trade them elsewhere because neither are welcome in Detroit if we add a smurf LD it will be hometown kid Torey Krug at least he will help our anemic PP.

You want constructive comment, Then make realistic trades 2 2nds+4th round pick doesn't get you the #18 pick especially picks coming from Chicago and St Louis those are mid 2nds not low 2nds.

Whether you like this or not there is no way the redwings don't do this. Domi and Mantha's value are closer than you think. The 16th overall in this years draft will probably be better than both anyways. And Mete is very young and would be a decent fit on that brutal team. They can flip Domi as well if they wanted to. This clearly helps the future over the present.

It's garbage anyways, While it addresses our need at 2C we lose a winger that we can't afford to lose without getting an equivalent one back. Sorry Domi and Mete and a #16 pick that's probably 2-3 years away don't address our needs.

No they don't it's already been made known that Yzerman has no interest in Domi what so ever this comes from our insiders that know far more what's going on then you and me. Any deal for Mantha to Montreal isn't going to start with Domi and that's just pure fact.

FYI Mantha wants between 7 x $7,000,000 to 7 x 7,500,000 to remain in Detroit no freaking way is he taking 5 x $5,00,000 in high taxed Montreal where taxes are double what they're in Michigan. Mantha would clearly want 7 x $9,000,000 minimal to play in Montreal.

Take domi out and replace him with kk and add in primeau and you got it
