NYR Metro Division Winners

Created by: cbalzer28
Team: 2020-21 New York Rangers
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 21, 2020
Published: Sep. 21, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If I'm the Rangers, first 2 targets this offseason are Danault or Cirelli for 2C or Vince Dunn on LD. Coming away with 1 of them for the right price is a huge step for this team.
Resign Danault to a 5x5 deal.
Need to save cap space to sign Mika and RFAs next season too.
Also FYI that is a big boy 4th line with some skill too!
May need to throw in a better prospect than Skinner for Danault but the way I look at it, Buch is a better player than Danault and with the 2nd rd pick it makes things pretty even.

I really don't want Ryan Strome but I could live with Guerin giving up our 2020 2nd for him. But with Smith attached, I'd give you our 2020 4th and like a 5th round pick in 2021 at best.

They need help down the middle, and as much as everyone says Strome is the worst 70 point forward ever lol I still think he can get something solid back. Plus smith has just one year left and he can play left or right side def and would be a solid bottom pair. If a team has the capspace hes not a bad option for depth. I don't think your 6th or 7th best prospect is that much of an ask.

Wait when did Strome hit 70 pts?

Khovanov is off limits...especially if you want the Wild to take Smith (even if for only one year).

However, I can see the always short-sighted and impatient Wild going Khovanov for Strome straight up, but I wouldn’t do it.

Why is he off limits? I dont follow Wild prospects much but Im seeing him at 5 or not even top 5 for them on some lists. And its not like they have the strongest prospect pool in the league either.

He is Corey Pronman’s of the Athletic (draft and prospects guru) 43rd rated prospect...and has pretty incredible things to say about him. He’s a legit good/great prospect.

I'd say Khovanov is 4th or 5th at worst. He's our #1 center prospect and there's a pretty considerable margin between him and our next best center prospect, which isn't a good thing for the Wild. Would be foolish to move him for Strome considering I think we're pretty far from a win-now position

Check your math there "Homie" 59points/70games=.843 x 82 games = 69.13 points. If you wanna be a stickler its 69 and change but we all know Panarin would get Strome that 70th point wink

I did the math, that's why I said it's not 70, I don't need you to break it down for me
