Description

After watching another nice performance by BOTH Gustav Forsling and Alexander Fortin...I think the Hawks are seriously considering playing both. Fortin was the player of the game tonight and Forsling put a sweet exclamation point at the end of the game. But seriously though, 18 shots by the Red Wings. That's a good job getting out of the defensive zone. Yes it's just one game, but we're near the end of preseason and when the same players consistently stand out...you gotta play'em.

If I was Treliving I'd take that deal and run, Vokka will develop very well with Hamilton.

Ultraman - I think you're right. Problem is, he's in the AHL for the foreseeable future with the Hawks even if Forsling goes back to Europe because TVR and Kempny have been doing a pretty good job as well. He absolutely has good value, but no ice time. Think with the inclusion of RAS, they could get the 2017 4th or 5th as well? I see this being a busy draft day for Bowman!!!

The problem is, you don't need Pokka this year, but you desperately need him next year. We can't keep hemorrhaging RHD. If we're moving Pokka it needs to be for a cost-controlled forward, and even then I'm not a fan of the idea.

Probably either TVR or Pokka which is again to your point about the RHD. I do however think it's easier to find a bottom pair RHD than a Top 6 LW. Great thoughts.
