Trades
1.
TOR
  1. 2020 2nd round pick (CAR)
  2. 2021 2nd round pick (CAR)
CAR
  1. Andersen, Frederik
Additional Details:
If Matt Murray is worth a second and a prospect, and Darcy Kuemper is worth a first, then Andersen should be worthy of two seconds (also the leafs got him for a first and a second before he lead a bad defensive team to the playoffs for four years in a row)
2.
CBJ
  1. 2020 2nd round pick (TOR)
  2. 2020 4th round pick (VGK)
3.
TOR
  1. Anderson, Joey [RFA Rights]
  2. 2020 1st round pick (VAN)
NJD
  1. Bracco, Jeremy [RFA Rights]
  2. Holl, Justin
  3. Johnsson, Andreas
  4. 2021 2nd round pick (CAR)
Additional Details:
New Jersey has plenty of cap space so that doesn’t affect them. For their return they get a guy in Johnsson who has upside to score 25+ goals and 50+ points. Just look at how good Connor Brown (a leafs fourth liner) was in Ottowa. Also Holl is a decent top 4 d but an excellent bottom pair guy and could be huge if New Jersey tries to push for the playoffs next year. Also giving up a first wont hurt to bad when you already have two and you are getting another pick for next year. I decided to add Bracco in as he still has top 9 upside if he ever gets the opportunity.

That’s a no from Columbus. Only way to get Korpisalo is if he’s in a trade that lands us a 2nd line center.

Why can Kuemper get a first then and Murray get a second and a prospect?

I can understand that but if your going with Elvis as the number one, your probably trading Korpisalo, and that second could help you trade for a center

If we go with Elvis as a 1A, Korpisalo is the 1B.... we have no reason to trade him unless we get a player who helps us immediately.

To OP, remember, Elvis is exempt from the Seattle draft, and so we can protect Korpi while exposing Kivlenieks. Many (if not most) teams will be going with a 1a/1b system next year, and I wouldn't be surprised if Columbus is one of them.
