Oilers pass. Dunn and Schwartz are great players, but Edmonton needs young pieces and especially ELCs to help build their team as they’re getting to be in a tricky cap situation.

Oilers keep their assets just because Bouchard could give them 3 years of that sweet ELC production (and their pick is nice too)

Edmonton passes pitch that trade to a team that has 10mil in cap space
Edm needs ELC to build this team into a contender can’t afford to move either or first or Bouchard plus Bouchard has a much higher ceiling then Dunn
The value of the trade is fair it just doesn’t work in Edmonton’s cap crunch. Plus SCHWARTZ is a UFA he’d have to agree to a extension as part on the trade.
